Jonathan Chandi Reworks PFW Season in Black and White

For Jonathan Chandi, the season did not end when the shows did. Returning to photographs made across different shows at Paris Fashion Week SS 27, he began pulling them away from the polished language of his portfolio and into something more instinctive and personal.

Reworked in black and white, silhouettes become more severe, textures more physical and small details suddenly take over the frame. The series pushes against fashion photography’s obsession with immaculate surfaces, allowing grain, contrast and imperfection to reshape the memory of the shows themselves.
